About this work
This work belongs to the series "Perfume de Flor de Cuchillo". This was Bran Solo's first solo exhibition, held at Kipfer&Lover, Malaga (Spain) in 2014, and whose more than 30 original works were sold in less than 48 hours.
The series is inspired by the work "Romancero Gitano" by Spanish writer and poet Federico García Lorca.
It deals with stories of love, heartbreak, courage, blood and manhood of bandits, bandits and characters from the popular Castilian tradition of the early 20th century and during the Spanish Civil War.
Several renowned Spanish bandits such as Jaume El Barbut, El Pernales or even Curro Jiménez are recognized in the works, and each one has his own story written in white line on their bodies, sometimes mixed with the author's own story.
